Business Teacher – August Start

About the role

We are seeking an outstanding Business Teacher to join GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail, starting in August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver the British Business curriculum to GCSE and A‑Level students and contribute to a high‑performing, evidence‑informed learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Business lessons for KS3‑5 (GCSE and A‑Level) following the National Curriculum of England.
• Apply cognitive‑science driven, evidence‑based teaching practices in the classroom.
• Collaborate with a high‑performing teaching team to maintain outstanding student outcomes.
• Participate in professional development programmes such as StepLab instructional coaching and the Cognitive Science Network.

Required profile

• Qualified with a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent secondary teaching qualification.
• Minimum two years’ experience teaching the British curriculum at GCSE and A‑Level.
• Exceptional subject knowledge in Business.
• Proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
• Experience working within a high‑performing teaching team.
