Primary Teacher (KS2) – August Start

About the role

GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail is seeking an outstanding KS2 Primary Teacher to join its high‑performing team from August 2026. The role involves delivering the British National Curriculum to Key Stage 2 learners in a cognitively‑driven, evidence‑informed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess KS2 lessons in line with the British curriculum.
• Apply evidence‑based teaching practices and contribute to the school’s cognitive science network.
• Collaborate with a high‑performing teaching team to maintain exceptional student outcomes.
• Participate in professional development programmes such as StepLab coaching and the Best Practice Network.

Required profile

• Hold a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent qualification in primary education.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching the National Curriculum of England (KS2).
• Proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the British KS2 curriculum.
• Exceptional subject knowledge across core primary subjects.
