About the role
The Cadet Technician Programme is a two‑year, full‑time training pathway designed for UAE nationals to become licensed Aircraft Technicians with Etihad Airways. Participants will combine classroom theory with supervised on‑the‑job experience across multiple aircraft types.
Key responsibilities
- Complete the GCAA‑approved training syllabus and maintain a minimum 75% pass rate on all module exams.
- Perform on‑the‑job maintenance tasks under supervision, logging work in the Schedule of Work.
- Participate in mandatory technical assessments and adhere to Etihad’s safety, health, and regulatory procedures.
Required profile
- UAE national, aged 18‑29, holding a valid family book.
- High school certificate (or equivalent) with at least 60% overall and subjects in Maths, Physics or Science.
- Strong command of English and completion (or exemption) of UAE National Service for males.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, and to wear the Etihad technical uniform.
