Car Purchasing Specialist

About the role

GTA Cars, one of Dubai's most established premium used car dealerships, is looking for an experienced Car Purchaser to help drive its stock acquisition. Candidates without automotive purchasing experience will not be considered; proven experience is a must, with UAE experience preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing vehicles across the UAE market through outbound calls, online platforms, referrals and your own network
• Evaluating stock accurately: pricing, condition, mileage, service history and saleability
• Negotiating purchase prices with private sellers and dealers
• Coordinating inspections, test drives and compliance checks before any purchase is made
• Working with sales and operations teams to keep showroom stock aligned with demand
• Maintaining clean, accurate records of sourcing activity and negotiations
• Hitting monthly targets on volume, margin and stock quality

Required profile

• Proven experience in automotive purchasing or sales
• UAE experience preferred; strong UK/European/Australian backgrounds will be considered
• Confident negotiator who knows when to push and when to walk away
• Detail-oriented, process-driven and self-sufficient in a target-driven environment
• Valid UAE driving licence

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of vehicle makes, models, condition assessment and market values
• Outbound sourcing and direct negotiation with private sellers and trade contacts
