Career Advisor (Executive Rank) – UAE National Only

About the role

The Career Advisor supports the employability and career development of University of Dubai students and alumni by providing guidance, delivering readiness programs, and connecting talent with employment opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group career advising on exploration, planning, job‑search strategies, CVs, interviews, networking and negotiation.
• Design, coordinate and deliver career‑readiness workshops, webinars, coaching sessions and resources.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employers, recruiters, professional bodies and alumni to expand opportunities.
• Source, screen and promote full‑time, part‑time, graduate and entry‑level vacancies on approved platforms.
• Plan and coordinate career fairs, employer engagement activities and networking events.
• Monitor labour‑market trends, emerging occupations and future‑skills requirements and translate findings into guidance.
• Support collection, validation and analysis of graduate employment data and employer feedback surveys.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and evidence for institutional planning, accreditation and regulatory reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Career Counseling, Psychology, Business Administration, HR, Education or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum three years of full‑time experience in career services, counseling, graduate employability or talent acquisition.
• Experience in employer engagement, career events, outcome tracking and reporting is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with career‑management systems and online career platforms.
• Effective use of LinkedIn and digital tools for networking and employer outreach.
• Ability to analyse labour‑market data and produce evidence‑based reports.
