Cargo Project Manager

About the role

As a Cargo Project Manager at dnata, you will plan, manage and deliver large‑scale projects across the cargo and aviation supply chain, ensuring they meet business requirements, timelines, budgets and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, execute and close projects in line with the project charter, maintaining realistic schedules and resources.
• Monitor project performance, report to sponsors and steering boards, and take corrective actions when needed.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Control project risks, issues and changes, delivering solutions that meet functional and IT standards.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, coach members and ensure performance reviews are completed.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in PMO or strategic planning roles.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with negotiation and influencing skills.
• Experience managing large, cross‑functional projects, preferably in aviation or logistics.

Required skills

• Professional project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, CAPM, PMP, Six Sigma).
• Proficiency with planning tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
