Carpenter – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Carpenter to join our maintenance team at Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi. You will play a key part in delivering high‑quality customer service by constructing, installing, and repairing wood, plywood and wallboard fixtures throughout the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair works across the hotel building.
• Construct, fix, and maintain shelving, cabinets, door locks, security items, windows and glazing.
• Carry out partition woodworking and operate related machinery.
• Remove damaged or defective parts, repair or replace them using hand and power tools.
• Finish woodwork and wallboard surfaces with paint, paneling, or other finishes.
• Patch and sand plaster or plasterboard defects.
• Ensure all work complies with local technical regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• High school qualification with proven carpentry skills.
• Good command of English.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety, safe lifting and handling procedures.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, flexible and able to adapt to unpredictable events.
• Pro‑active, reliable, calm under pressure and detail‑oriented.
