Carpenter – Hotel Property Maintenance

About the role

Novotel & Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha is looking for a skilled Carpenter to build, maintain and repair wooden structures across the hotel property. The role demands high craftsmanship, attention to detail and collaboration with other trades to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Construct, install and repair wooden items such as cabinets, bed frames, doors, chairs and other furniture.
• Assess property needs and create custom wooden products as required.
• Install fixtures including windows, frames, flooring and trim, and frame out walls with precise door frames.
• Participate in show and production fabrication projects directed by management.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure proper upkeep of tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other trades and team members on various projects.
• Provide courteous service when interacting with guests or clients.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience as a finished carpenter (preferred).
• Physical strength and stamina to perform carpentry tasks throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail and quality‑oriented approach.
• Safety‑conscious mindset and commitment to follow safety protocols.
• Effective communication and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common carpentry tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical literature and blueprints.
• Knowledge of wood, plywood and wallboard construction techniques.
