Carpenter Technician (Level 3) – Atlantis The Palm

About the role

The Carpenter Technician (Level 3) is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, repair, fabrication and installation of carpentry, painting and joinery works throughout Atlantis, The Palm. The role ensures guest room furniture, doors, cabinets, wooden flooring and other wooden fixtures remain safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of all carpentry‑related items.
• Repair and maintain guest‑room gypsum ceilings, furniture, wardrobes, cabinets, drawers, doors, door frames, skirting and wooden flooring.
• Install, repair and adjust locks, hinges, door closers, handles and other door hardware.
• Repair damaged wooden panels, decorative moldings, partitions and ceiling access panels.
• Perform polishing, sanding, laminate repairs and finishing works.
• Fabricate wooden components according to site measurements.
• Replace damaged plywood, MDF, laminates, veneers and solid‑wood components.
• Inspect guest rooms for carpentry defects and complete repairs promptly.
• Support renovation projects and room refurbishment activities.
• Maintain carpentry tools and equipment in safe working condition and keep work areas clean.
