Catering Operations Officer

About the role

Join Emirates’ Catering team and help deliver the ‘Fly Better’ experience by overseeing inflight food, beverage and amenity operations. You will ensure that all catering activities meet Emirates’ high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct compliance checks on base and overseas caterers against Emirates galley plans.
• Manage equipment loading standards and track any deviations.
• Oversee stock handling by service providers, approve requisitions, and enforce SOPs for inventory management.
• Initiate regular stock counts, verify physical consumption, and update the ERP system.
• Record all stock movements, transfers and returns, maintaining an audit‑ready trail.
• Investigate meal‑count variances with stakeholders and resolve financial reconciliation issues.
• Ensure products are used within shelf life, minimise waste and manage proper recycling.
• Gather crew feedback, coordinate corrective actions with caterers, and monitor Service Level Agreements.

Required profile

• Passion for culinary excellence and high‑quality service delivery.
• Strong understanding of catering logistics, inventory control and compliance.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast‑paced airline environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.

Required skills

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
