Chargehand – Civil Works Supervision

About the role

The Chargehand will supervise a team of technicians and helpers on civil works projects at Al Rostamani Group sites in Dubai. You will ensure that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Bill of Quantity for materials and machinery required for the allocated area.
• Allocate fitters, electricians and helpers efficiently, optimizing manpower usage.
• Produce daily progress reports and maintain inventory of stock, equipment and materials.
• Supervise daily performance, enforce safety regulations and conduct toolbox checks.
• Attend to snag points, control material usage and follow installation drawings on site.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar chargehand role with HSE knowledge.
• Ability to read basic installation drawings and cable schedules.
• Physically fit to work in extreme weather and perform manual tasks.
• Strong organizational skills to plan, direct and supervise work within budget.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting installation drawings.

• Proficiency with hand tools and construction machines.
• Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) compliance.
