Chartered Accountant – Tax & Compliance (Fresh Graduate)

About the role

We are seeking a freshly qualified Chartered Accountant to join a leading Tax Advisory firm in Dubai. This position offers the chance to develop practical expertise in UAE VAT, corporate tax, and FTA compliance while working closely with senior managers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly VAT return workings in accordance with UAE tax regulations.
• Coordinate VAT return filing within statutory deadlines after manager review.
• Perform transaction‑level reviews to identify errors, omissions, and Reverse Charge Mechanism implications.
• Maintain detailed reconciliations of sales, purchases and RCM.
• Review trial balances and supporting financial information for tax compliance.
• Assist in responding to FTA queries, notices, assessments and penalty waiver applications.
• Update client registrations on the EmaraTax portal and monitor compliance deadlines.
• Act as the day‑to‑day contact for assigned clients on routine tax matters.
• Collect required documents, follow up on pending items and communicate deliverable status.
• Review accounting records, perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies related to tax compliance.

Required profile

• Freshly qualified CA, ACCA or equivalent professional.
• Strong interest in UAE VAT, corporate tax and tax advisory.
• Willingness to work under guidance and progress to independent client handling.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight statutory deadlines.
