Chartered Accountant – Tax & Compliance (Immediate Joiner) – Dubai

About the role

We are a leading tax and compliance firm in Dubai seeking a Chartered Accountant to join our team immediately. The role involves end‑to‑end handling of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, FTA filings, audits and client compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns, amendments and voluntary disclosures on the FTA portal on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Manage UAE Corporate Tax registration, filings and tax computations in line with the new UAE Corporate Tax law.
• Handle Economic Substance Reporting (ESR), Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) and related filings for client entities.
• Assist clients during FTA audits, tax assessments and respond to queries or notices.
• Review client books, invoices and contracts for VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
• Prepare tax advisory notes, impact analyses and compliance reports.
• Liaise with the FTA, clients, auditors and internal teams to gather required documentation.
• Maintain a compliance calendar, track deadlines and send client reminders.
• Support senior managers in tax planning, structuring and consulting projects.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA, ACCA or CPA) with 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and FTA compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with the FTA portal for VAT filing, Corporate Tax registration, ESR and voluntary disclosures.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Tax Law, VAT Law, Corporate Tax Law and IFRS.
• Immediate availability or maximum 15‑day notice period (cancelled visa accepted).
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel and experience with Tally, Zoho Books or other ERP systems.
