Chef de Cuisine – South American Dining Experience

About the role

The Sheraton The Walk in Dubai is seeking a passionate and creative Chef de Cuisine to lead its kitchen team and shape the next chapter of its South American dining experience. This full‑time, onsite role is responsible for delivering high‑quality, consistent food while managing all kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen standards, food preparation, storage, and sanitation to ensure compliance with all F&B policies and local regulations.
• Develop, design and execute daily and seasonal menu items, focusing on Brazilian and South American cuisine, including churrasco and open‑fire cooking.
• Plan and manage food quantities, plating requirements and daily production estimates.
• Lead, train and cross‑train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment and maintaining productivity.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a senior culinary leadership role, preferably as Chef de Cuisine.
• High school diploma/GED with relevant experience or a 2‑year degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel & Restaurant Management.
• Strong knowledge and passion for Brazilian/South American cuisine and open‑fire cooking techniques.
