Chef de Cuisine – Upscale Grill

About the role

Stratos Restaurant is seeking a dynamic Chef de Cuisine to lead its upscale grill operation. The successful candidate will be the culinary face of the restaurant, driving menu innovation and delivering Michelin‑level quality to discerning guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all kitchen activities, ensuring food preparation, presentation, hygiene and consistency meet the highest standards.
• Design and execute innovative grill‑focused menus, seasonal promotions and signature dishes.
• Recruit, train, mentor and manage culinary staff, handling performance and succession planning.
• Maintain full compliance with UAE food safety regulations, HACCP standards and company policies.
• Act as a visible ambassador, engaging with guests, VIPs, media and hotel leadership to enhance the dining experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years as Chef de Cuisine or Head Chef in a high‑end grill environment.
• Proven experience in a Michelin‑starred or Michelin‑Guide‑recognized fine‑dining establishment.
• 6–8 years of progressive culinary leadership in luxury hotels, fine‑dining restaurants or renowned international groups.
• Guest‑centric mindset with strong public‑relations abilities.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages are a plus.
