Chef de Partie – Al Wadi, Ras Al Khaimah

About the role

The Al Wadi outlet of The Ritz-Carlton in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a motivated Chef de Partie to join its culinary team. You will be responsible for preparing special meals, maintaining high standards of food quality, and supporting the kitchen during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters.
• Pull frozen items for thawing, ensure proper portioning, arrangement and garnish.
• Maintain food logs and monitor quality and quantity of prepared dishes.
• Communicate assistance needs during peak times and inform the Chef of excess or out‑of‑stock items.
• Notify Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and unavailable items.
• Prepare cold foods and ensure all dishes meet quality standards.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling and employee coaching as needed.
• Follow all company safety, security and hygiene policies; report any hazards or incidents.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb, and reaching overhead.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree related to culinary arts.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
