Chef de Partie – Kitchen Team Member

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Aloft Dubai. The role involves preparing a variety of hot and cold dishes while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperatures and monitor food quality and quantity.
• Retrieve frozen items, thaw them safely, and ensure proper portioning, arrangement and garnish.
• Maintain food logs, record temperature checks and report any issues to the Chef.
• Communicate with Food & Beverage service staff about menu specials, out‑of‑stock items and daily specials.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling and coaching kitchen staff and act as a role model.
• Follow all safety, security and hygiene policies, report maintenance needs and ensure a clean, professional appearance.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant kitchen experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
