About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chemistry Teacher to join Jumeirah College in Dubai from September 2025. The role involves delivering the National Curriculum for England at GCSE and A‑Level, contributing to the school’s enriched curriculum and supporting a diverse international student body.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for GCSE and A‑Level classes.
• Prepare students for examinations, aiming to maintain high achievement rates.
• Contribute to the school’s enriched curriculum programmes and extracurricular activities.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with the department and wider school community to uphold the school’s outstanding standards.

Required profile

• B.Ed. or degree with PGCE/PGDE (or equivalent) and exceptional Chemistry subject knowledge.
• Minimum two years’ experience teaching the National Curriculum for England.
• Proven record of outstanding learning and teaching outcomes.
• Commitment to fostering high expectations for all students.
