Chief Accountant

About the role

Inflexion is seeking a highly skilled Chief Accountant to lead its accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance in the UAE and provide financial insights for strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting functions including General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets and bank reconciliation.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, preparing statements in line with IFRS.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations, handling filings and audits.
• Prepare payroll, monitor cash flow, working capital and project profitability.
• Produce management reports, dashboards and variance analysis for senior leadership.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, ERP finance initiatives and process automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) preferred.
• 8‑12 years progressive accounting experience, with 3‑5 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, corporate tax and statutory reporting.
• Experience working with external auditors and regulatory authorities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA or SAP Business One.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
