Chief Commercial Officer – Plastics Packaging (FMCG/Pharma/Personal Care)

About the role

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will lead revenue growth, profitability and customer strategy for a UAE‑based plastic packaging business serving FMCG, pharma and personal care sectors. Reporting to the CEO, the CCO is accountable for commercial performance, pricing, and alignment with manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial growth strategy, targeting strategic accounts and new portfolio opportunities.
• Lead the national sales organization, manage key customer relationships and drive complex negotiations and long‑term agreements.
• Own pricing strategy, margin management and commercial governance, working closely with finance and operations.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, planning and new product development to ensure customer commitments match production capacity.
• Build, coach and retain a high‑performing commercial leadership team, establishing KPIs and succession plans.

Required profile

• 15+ years of commercial leadership in plastic packaging, rigid packaging or FMCG packaging environments.
• Proven success leading large sales organisations and managing strategic key accounts.
• Strong experience partnering with manufacturing and operational teams to deliver profitable growth.
• Results‑oriented, accountable and customer‑focused leadership style.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred but not essential.
