Chief Operating Officer – Agri Commodities

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead and scale our international B2B agricultural commodities trading business. The role focuses on driving profitability, expanding market presence and overseeing end‑to‑end operations across pulses, grains and oilseeds.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end operations, commercial strategy and P&L management.
• Oversee procurement and sales of dry agricultural commodities, including grains, pulses and oilseeds.
• Drive business development and market expansion across multiple locations.
• Establish and scale business entities in international markets.
• Lead cross‑functional teams in Trading, Procurement, Sales, Finance, Logistics and Operations.
• Strengthen trade finance, working capital, risk management and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• 18–25 years of overall experience with strong B2B agricultural commodities trading exposure.
• Proven hands‑on experience in both procurement and sales.
• Mandatory business experience with established market exposure across the region.
• Strong P&L ownership, business expansion and multi‑geography operations experience.
• Demonstrated success in senior commercial or business leadership roles.
