About the role
As a Chief Steward at Hilton, you will lead all stewarding operations across the property, ensuring guests experience exceptional hospitality through flawless service and immaculate environments.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee inventory control of china, glassware, linen and silver, guaranteeing accuracy and availability.
- Manage maintenance and functionality of all food service equipment.
- Develop, implement and enforce sanitation standards to meet health and safety regulations.
- Monitor department costs and apply cost‑saving strategies while maintaining quality.
- Recruit, train, coach and evaluate team members to build a high‑performing stewarding team.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations.
Required profile
- Passion for delivering warm, memorable hospitality experiences.
- Integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership and a sense of urgency.
- High school diploma or university degree.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Chief Steward.
