Civil Draftsman

About the role

Stars General Contracting Co. LLC is looking for a skilled Civil Draftsman to join its team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role suits someone with strong experience in preparing civil and infrastructure drawings, who can work closely with engineers, surveyors and site teams. It calls for attention to detail, accuracy in drawing preparation and the ability to manage revisions and updates according to project needs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate civil and infrastructure drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings and detailed project layouts.
• Update drawings based on engineers' markups and site modifications.
• Maintain drawing registers and manage revision control.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors and site teams on drawing requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Civil Drafting or Engineering.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in civil drafting within the construction industry.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Civil drafting and infrastructure drawing preparation.
• Shop drawings and as-built documentation.
• Civil 3D knowledge is an added advantage.
