Senior Engineer, Projects QA&QC

About the role

ADNOC Sour Gas is hiring a Senior Engineer, Projects QA&QC in Abu Dhabi. The role provides expertise for developing and implementing quality management requirements on assigned projects, ensuring project quality systems meet ISO 9000 series requirements and company policies so that engineering, materials, equipment and construction are compliant, technically sound and fit for purpose.

Key responsibilities

• Review and develop quality requirements for contractors and PMCs across design, development, construction and commissioning to prevent non-conformities.
• Review contractors' QA/QC plans, inspection and testing procedures and monitor their implementation.
• Take part in vendor and field inspection strategy and the selection of TPI agencies, and review contractor audit programmes.
• Handle technical and compliance audits, arrange interviews and site visits, and assess the effectiveness of contractor audits.
• Plan, supervise and coordinate activities in the assigned area, train and develop staff, and contribute to department budgets and performance objectives.
• Implement approved policies, standards and procedures, comply with legislation, and follow HSE policies and sustainability guidelines.
• Design and implement tools that improve process quality and efficiency, and report on section MIS and progress to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• 6 years of experience, including experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).
