Civil Purchaser – Construction Procurement (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Purchaser to join our Dubai team. The role focuses on end‑to‑end procurement of civil, structural and finishing materials for high‑rise residential and mixed‑use projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle for civil, structural and finishing materials.
• Verify that all materials meet project specifications, approvals and consultant requirements.
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules to support project deadlines.
• Coordinate with project, planning, engineering and logistics teams.
• Maintain supplier relationships and keep the Approved Vendor List up to date.
• Issue purchase orders, track them and maintain procurement records, preferably using Oracle ERP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Supply Chain.
• 5–7 years of procurement experience in the UAE construction market.
• Proven track record on high‑rise residential or mixed‑use building projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers, vendors and market trends.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Good understanding of commercial and contractual terms; FIDIC knowledge is a plus.
