Civil Survey Inspector – Cut & Cover & Civils

About the role

The Inspector – Civil, Structure and Tunnels Surveyor ensures that all construction works are set‑out, aligned and recorded accurately against approved drawings and specifications. Working on large‑scale rail, tunnel and civil infrastructure projects, the role supports the Engineer by delivering precise survey verification and as‑built documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Verify setting‑out, alignment, levels, coordinates and produce survey inspection reports.
• Produce discrepancy, deviation and daily site observation reports.
• Review and validate control point, benchmark, level and dimensional accuracy records.
• Prepare progress measurement support records and interface coordination notes.
• Generate final as‑built verification reports and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction surveying, site inspection or engineering survey works on large civil or transportation projects.
• Experience collaborating with consultants, PMC teams or supervision teams.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
