Collections Specialist (Emiratisation)

About the role

Rakbank is seeking a motivated Collections Specialist to join its Credit Collections team. This position supports the UAE's Emiratisation agenda by offering Emirati talent a pathway to develop a career in banking while helping the bank meet its risk management and customer service goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and recover delinquent accounts to meet collection and recovery targets.
• Monitor early‑warning indicators and assist with proactive risk mitigation.
• Engage customers through approved channels to regularise accounts and reduce delinquency.
• Maintain productivity, quality and service standards for an allocated portfolio.
• Resolve customer queries professionally and escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives and contribute to operational excellence.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver a positive customer experience and achieve team objectives.

Required profile

• UAE National (Family Book required).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in collections, recovery or a related banking/customer‑service environment.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Ability to work in a target‑driven environment and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Understanding of collections processes and financial concepts.
