About the role
Our Own English High School – Sharjah – Boys is seeking an outstanding Commerce & Economics Teacher for the senior school, starting August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, support student learning and collaborate with colleagues across phases.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned Commerce and Economics lessons to senior school students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in departmental meetings and school-wide initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance.
Required profile
- B.Com or M.Com (distance or open university degrees not accepted) plus B.Ed.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience in Commerce/Economics.
- Experience with the CBSE curriculum is preferred but not essential.
- Creative, enthusiastic and a strong team player.
Required skills
- Proficient use of IT tools for lesson preparation and delivery.
