Commercial & Immigration Caseworker

About the role

Philip Jones Legal is seeking a driven, commercially minded Commercial & Immigration Caseworker to join its expanding legal team. The role covers both UK immigration law and commercial and corporate legal matters across the DMCC, DIFC, ADGM and Sharjah Publishing City in the UAE, as well as UK corporate and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on a varied caseload of UK immigration matters, including detention and immigration bail applications, asylum and human rights claims, fresh claims, appeals and case preparation.
• Handle commercial and corporate matters such as company structuring, incorporations, compliance, contract review and regulatory advisory work across UAE and UK jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Minimum LLB (Bachelor of Laws) or equivalent legal qualification.
• Strong foundational legal knowledge and analytical ability.
• Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in both immigration and corporate law.
• Proactive attitude, professionalism and willingness to learn; previous legal experience is advantageous but not essential.
