Commercial Manager – Future General Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading provider of industrial packaging and automation solutions in the GCC, is seeking a Commercial Manager who will drive commercial growth and prepare for a future transition into General Management. This senior position offers a clear pathway to broader business leadership for an ambitious commercial professional.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial growth strategies across the UAE and GCC.
• Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market segments.
• Lead key customer relationships and negotiate commercial contracts.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve targets.
• Support business planning, forecasting, and operational decision‑making.
• Collaborate closely with sales, operations, finance, and logistics leadership.
• Contribute to long‑term succession and growth plans of the organization.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in B2B sales, commercial management or business development.
• Background in packaging, industrial equipment, automation, manufacturing or related sectors.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and commercial operations.
• Strong commercial, financial and strategic mindset.
• Experience in the GCC market is highly preferred.
• Fluency in English and Hindi.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building abilities.
