About the role
The Luxury Collection is seeking a Commis 1 for its All Day Dining outlet at Ajman Saray. This full‑time role involves preparing and cooking meals according to strict quality and presentation standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food following recipes, quality and presentation standards, including cold dishes.
- Regulate oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperatures and manage food thawing and storage.
- Maintain food logs, monitor portion sizes, garnish presentation and ensure menu specials are communicated to service staff.
- Assist in hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating staff, and act as a role model for the team.
Required profile
- Technical or vocational culinary education.
- At least 3 years of relevant food‑and‑beverage experience.
- Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift items up to 25 lb.
- Commitment to safety, hygiene and company policies.
Required skills
- Food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of temperature control for ovens, grills and roasters.
- Ability to maintain accurate food logs and portion control.
