About the role
The Commis 1 will support the Sirocco restaurant team at Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Festival City, ensuring smooth daily operations and a welcoming experience for guests.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare all mise‑en‑place for service and maintain a clean, hygienic work area.
- Assist the team with storage pick‑ups and ensure timely availability of food, beverage, and equipment.
- Communicate courteously with guests and colleagues, reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Participate in daily briefings, training sessions, and adhere to hotel and department policies.
- Clean and reset the workstation after each service and support special projects as assigned.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
Required skills
- Food safety standards compliance.
- Mise‑en‑place preparation.
- Maintaining a hygienic and organized work area.
