Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and service of food and prepare mise en place for outlets as required.
- Adhere to Anantara food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
- Recommend improvements and additions to presentation guidelines.
- Maintain clean and tidy working areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Ensure food safety by following proper handling techniques, dating, storage and rotation.
- Maintain basic food safety and sanitation practices.
- Take responsibility for hotel property, equipment and facilities.
- Participate in departmental training to improve skills and service levels.
- Oversee adherence to departmental checklists and cleaning schedules.
- Assist with events, banquets and other functions as required.
- Follow personal hygiene, grooming standards, fire safety and health regulations.
