About the role
The Ritz‑Carlton in Dubai is seeking a Commis II – Pastry to support its Food & Beverage operations. The role involves preparing and cooking pastry items to the brand’s high standards while maintaining safety and hygiene.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients, portion, chop and store food before cooking.
- Use baking and measuring equipment safely to produce baked goods.
- Follow food‑safety policies, personal hygiene standards and temperature checks.
- Clean and disinfect the kitchen area, set‑up and break‑down work stations.
- Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the shift.
- Adhere to company safety, security and uniform policies.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of related pastry experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification needed.
