Commis III – Food Preparation & Service

About the role

Anantara Downtown Dubai is seeking a Commis III to support food preparation and service across its outlets. The role involves maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and presentation while contributing to a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and service of food and set up mise en place for outlets as required.
• Adhere to Anantara food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
• Identify and recommend improvements to presentation guidelines.
• Maintain clean and tidy working areas to uphold a hygienic environment.
• Ensure food safety by following proper handling techniques, including dating, storage, and rotation.
• Follow basic sanitation practices and cleaning schedules.
• Take responsibility for hotel property, equipment, and facilities.
• Participate in departmental training to enhance skills and service levels.
• Assist with events, banquets, and other functions as needed.
• Comply with personal hygiene, grooming standards, fire safety, and health regulations.
