Concierge Intern - December 2026 Intake

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai, is looking for a Concierge Intern to join its Concierge team. The intern provides five-star service to guests and colleagues, keeping the guest's perspective in mind and supporting the Rooms Division. The position runs from December until June.

Key responsibilities

• Create focused conversations with guests that identify their personal preferences and anticipate their needs proactively.
• Provide clear directions for guests travelling outside the hotel and give accurate information on travel times, costs and transport options.
• Respond to guest requests using proper communication skills across resources and departments.
• Maintain a daily record in Concierge software of guest requests, reservations and confirmations.
• Share important details about internal and external events, resources and possible challenges with management and colleagues.
• Recommend, book and organise sightseeing, shopping, arts and cultural activities, flights, restaurants, bars, clubs and leisure activities.
• Arrange limousine transportation requests, ensuring revenue is fully maximised.
• Build relationships with guests to delight them and gain loyalty, from arrival to departure, in line with the hotel's quality experience standards.

Required profile

• Senior school qualification or equivalent; a hospitality school diploma is an advantage.
• Availability from December until June.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Minimum 1 luxury hospitality internship experience.
• Clear verbal and written English; Spanish, German, Italian, Russian and French is an advantage.

• Strong command of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to understand guest needs and deliver superior customer service.
• Attention to detail and ability to organise and handle multiple tasks.
