Construction Manager - Logistics Real Estate, Dubai

About the role

The Project Construction Manager manages and delivers industrial, logistics or large-scale construction projects in the UAE, with a strong focus on cost control, design coordination, regulatory compliance and on-site execution. The role links design consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal technical and procurement teams so that projects are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project and construction management from design development through construction and handover, overseeing schedules, budgets, quality and safety.
• Coordinate multiple contractors and work packages under parallel or split-contract arrangements, and align MEP, civil, architectural and structural works.
• Work with local design consultants to ensure designs meet regulatory and approval requirements, liaising with authorities for permits and approvals.
• Oversee on-site works, conduct site inspections and progress reviews, and resolve technical, quality, safety and schedule issues.
• Monitor costs and variations, support value engineering, and review contractors' payment applications, variations and change orders.
• Support procurement, supplier sourcing and material selection, and coordinate delivery of long-lead items.
• Act as a coordination hub between internal teams, consultants, contractors and stakeholders, and prepare regular project status reports.
• Manage interface risks between split contracts and subcontractors, maintaining interface matrices, responsibility documents and a risk register.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8-12 years of project or construction management experience in the UAE or wider Middle East.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) Professional Accreditation required.
• Proven experience delivering industrial facilities, logistics warehouses or large-scale commercial/infrastructure projects.
• Fluency in English; ability to work in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of UAE construction regulations, local authority approval processes and industry standards.
• Experience managing multiple contractors and complex interface coordination.
• Understanding of construction cost structures, procurement strategies and site execution.
• Project management software such as Aconex, Procore, BIM, Primavera.
