Construction Supervisor – E&I (Oil & Gas)

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) to join its PMC team for an ADNOC on‑shore project in Abu Dhabi. The role will be based on‑site and focuses on delivering safe, efficient and high‑quality construction work for a major oil and gas client.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and monitor all construction activities performed by EPC contractors.
• Ensure strict compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, approved drawings, HSE requirements and quality procedures.
• Track progress against project schedules and report deviations to the PMC team.
• Act as the PMC representative on‑site, facilitating communication between the client, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Promote a safe working environment and enforce all relevant health, safety and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor in the oil and gas sector, preferably on large on‑shore projects.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards and EPC contract management.
• Ability to work on‑site in Abu Dhabi for the duration of the project.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
