Consultant Cardiologist

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is looking for an experienced Consultant Cardiologist to diagnose and manage cardiovascular diseases and deliver advanced cardiac care. The position is full-time and on-site in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage cardiovascular conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias and hypertension
• Carry out cardiac assessments and build individualized treatment plans
• Perform and interpret ECG, echocardiography and cardiac stress tests
• Handle complex cases and provide long-term treatment and follow-up
• Carry out diagnostic and interventional procedures within the scope of clinical expertise
• Manage acute cardiac conditions and emergencies
• Work with cardiac surgeons, intensivists and other specialists
• Supervise junior medical staff and support clinical quality improvement

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• MD/DNB in General Medicine or equivalent, followed by DM/DNB or equivalent specialization in Cardiology
• Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level
• Experience managing complex cardiovascular conditions and interpreting cardiac investigations
• Strong clinical judgment, leadership and patient communication skills
