Consultant Family Medicine – Full-time in UAE

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its primary and ambulatory care services. They seek a Consultant Family Medicine to join a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive, patient‑centred care to a diverse international population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions across all age groups.
• Deliver preventive services including health screening, immunisations, lifestyle counselling and wellness programmes.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma and cardiovascular conditions using evidence‑based guidelines.
• Coordinate timely specialist referrals and perform outpatient procedures appropriate to family medicine.
• Promote continuity of care through patient education, follow‑up and comprehensive care planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes and integrated care pathways.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, comply with medico‑legal requirements and uphold patient safety standards.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, continuing medical education and accreditation activities.

Required profile

• Internationally trained Consultant Family Medicine physician.
• Recognised qualification such as ABFM, UK CCT/MRCGP, CCFP, FRACGP/FACRRM, European Specialist in Family Medicine, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS/MMed or equivalent.
• Experience in delivering primary care across all ages and managing chronic diseases.
• Commitment to international healthcare standards and continuous professional development.
