Consultant Family Medicine Physician – Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah

About the role

We are looking for experienced Consultant Family Medicine Physicians to join reputable healthcare facilities across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah. In this senior primary‑care role you will deliver comprehensive medical services to patients of all ages, emphasizing preventive care, chronic disease management, and continuity of care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary and family medical care, including consultations, assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular and respiratory disorders following evidence‑based guidelines.
• Deliver preventive health services, screenings, and patient education.
• Perform routine health assessments and appropriate clinical procedures.
• Refer patients to specialists when needed and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and ensure follow‑up continuity.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Support and mentor junior physicians and other healthcare staff.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine.
• Valid eligibility for Consultant Family Medicine classification under UAE licensing authorities (DHA, DOH, SHA).
• Relevant post‑specialisation and consultant‑level clinical experience.
• Strong knowledge of preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and primary healthcare.
• Excellent diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
