Consultant Family Medicine – Primary Care (UAE)

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its primary and ambulatory care services. We are seeking a Consultant in Family Medicine to join a multidisciplinary clinical team delivering comprehensive, patient‑centred care to a diverse international population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑spectrum primary care assessments, diagnosis and management for patients of all ages.
• Deliver preventive services including health screenings, immunisations, lifestyle counselling and wellness programmes.
• Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma and cardiovascular disease following evidence‑based guidelines.
• Perform appropriate outpatient procedures and handle minor emergencies in the clinic.
• Coordinate referrals to specialist services and ensure continuity of care through patient education and follow‑up.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and allied health professionals to optimise integrated care pathways.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with medico‑legal and quality standards.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and continuing medical education activities.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or specialist‑qualified Consultant in Family Medicine.
• Recognised qualifications such as ABFM, UK CCT/MRCGP, CCFP, FRACGP/FACRRM, European specialist, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS/MMed or equivalent.
• Experience delivering primary care across all age groups in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and adhere to international healthcare standards.
