About the role
Dubai Camel Hospital is seeking a dedicated General Veterinarian to join its team and provide high‑quality healthcare for camels. The role involves both routine and emergency care, working closely with specialists and technicians in a modern veterinary facility.
Key responsibilities
- Perform clinical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of camels.
- Manage routine and emergency veterinary cases.
- Develop treatment and follow‑up plans.
- Perform minor surgical and clinical procedures as required.
- Support preventive healthcare, vaccination, and disease‑control programs.
- Maintain accurate medical records and case documentation.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, animal welfare standards, and biosecurity procedures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM/BVSc or equivalent).
- Relevant clinical experience as a veterinarian.
- Camel or large‑animal veterinary experience is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in Dubai, UAE.
