Consultant Internal Medicine Physician – Tax-Free UAE Opportunity

About the role

A leading healthcare provider in Dubai is expanding its Internal Medicine Department and seeks a Board‑Certified Consultant/Specialist Internal Medicine Physician. The role involves delivering comprehensive adult medical care in a modern multispecialty hospital serving an international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient care for adult patients, including diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Conduct thorough medical evaluations, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
• Manage common and complex diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular, respiratory, and infectious disorders.
• Deliver preventive health services, health screenings, lifestyle counselling, and risk‑factor management.
• Coordinate acute emergency care and ensure appropriate inpatient admission when needed.
• Develop evidence‑based treatment plans, monitor progress, adjust therapies, and ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with subspecialists (cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology, pulmonology) for comprehensive patient management.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in line with UAE regulations.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality‑improvement initiatives, and internal medicine programs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑specialist or board certification experience in Internal Medicine.
• Board‑certified or equivalent qualification (e.g., ABIM, MRCP, FRCP, European Board, Arab Board, etc.).
• Eligibility for DOH/DHA/MOH licensing in the UAE (support provided).
• Ability to work in a multicultural, high‑volume hospital environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems.
