Consultant Interventional Cardiologist (American Board) – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with American Board Certification to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves performing invasive cardiac procedures and managing complex cardiovascular conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex cardiovascular diseases, including coronary artery disease and acute coronary syndromes.
• Perform coronary angiography, angioplasty, and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
• Provide emergency cardiac care and participate in on‑call services.
• Interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, and other cardiac investigations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to clinical guidelines and patient‑safety standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and continuing medical education.

Required profile

• MBBS, MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• American Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease/Cardiology.
• Fellowship or recognized subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology.
• Minimum 5 years post‑specialisation experience, preferably in a tertiary‑care or high‑volume cardiac centre.
• Valid DHA licence or eligibility for Consultant‑level licensing in Dubai.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication and interpersonal skills.
