Consultant Interventional Radiologist

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Dubai. The role involves delivering minimally invasive, image‑guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while upholding the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of vascular and non‑vascular interventional radiology procedures.
• Utilise CT, MRI, ultrasound and fluoroscopy for image‑guided interventions.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons and clinical teams to design optimal treatment plans.
• Conduct pre‑procedural assessments, obtain informed consent and provide post‑procedure follow‑up.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies when required and maintain accurate medical records.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Health Authority regulations, hospital policies and international best practices.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits and continuous medical education activities.
• Supervise and train junior doctors, radiographers and nursing staff as needed.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with board certification or specialist qualification in Radiology.
• Fellowship or formal training in Interventional Radiology.
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑qualification experience in interventional radiology, preferably at a consultant level.
• Proven competence in both vascular and non‑vascular procedures.
• Strong clinical decision‑making, attention to detail and patient‑focused professionalism.
