Consultant Nephrologist (Australian Board) – Private Healthcare

About the role

A leading private healthcare facility in the UAE is looking for an experienced Consultant Nephrologist with Australian Board/Fellowship certification to join its specialist team. The role involves delivering high‑quality renal care to both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and electrolyte disorders.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology consultations.
• Oversee dialysis services and coordinate renal replacement therapy when required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality‑improvement initiatives, and medical education.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with UAE healthcare standards.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Australian Board/Fellowship qualification in Nephrology recognized by UAE licensing authorities.
• Relevant post‑specialisation clinical experience.
• Current professional registration/licence in the country of practice.
• Eligibility for UAE Consultant classification, subject to licensing assessment.
• Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal abilities.
