Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (OBGYN)

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is hiring an experienced Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in Dubai, UAE. The role suits an accomplished consultant with strong clinical expertise, professional leadership skills and a commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred care, medical education, research and the advancement of clinical practice. Candidates with Tier 1 training or qualifications and a strong academic background are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based obstetric and gynecological care in line with established clinical standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient safety, positive clinical outcomes and an excellent patient experience.
• Contribute to clinical governance, service improvement and the implementation of evidence-based guidelines and care pathways.
• Support postgraduate medical education through clinical teaching, bedside supervision, resident assessment and mentoring.
• Contribute to curriculum development, educational strategy and the development of future specialists.
• Participate in research, scholarly activities, publications, clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support the advancement of departmental services and the wider academic healthcare environment.

Required profile

• Recognized postgraduate qualifications in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Appropriate Consultant-level clinical experience in obstetrics and gynaecology.
• A strong record of clinical practice, patient safety and evidence-based decision-making.
• Experience in postgraduate medical education, resident supervision, teaching or mentoring.
• Involvement in research, publications, clinical audit, quality improvement or guideline development.
• Eligibility for the relevant UAE healthcare professional licensing requirements.
• Preferred: Tier 1 qualifications or training, a strong academic profile and demonstrated experience in medical education and research.
