Consultant Pain Medicine – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant Pain Medicine to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves comprehensive assessment and management of patients with acute and chronic pain, working within multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Develop individualized, evidence‑based pain management plans.
• Perform interventional and non‑interventional pain procedures within the physician’s scope of practice.
• Coordinate care with anesthesiology, orthopedics, neurology, rehabilitation, oncology and other specialties.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as required.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology or a related specialty.
• Consultant‑level experience managing complex pain cases and, where applicable, performing interventional procedures.
• Valid DHA Eligibility Letter or DHA License (preferred).
• Strong clinical, communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
