Consultant Pediatric Neurologist

About the role

Stafmed is recruiting a Consultant Pediatric Neurologist for a full‑time position with a leading hospital in the UAE. The role involves delivering advanced, patient‑centred neurological care to infants, children and adolescents within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of pediatric neurological conditions, including epilepsy, seizure disorders, developmental delays, neuromuscular and movement disorders.
• Interpret neurological investigations such as EEG, neuroimaging and other diagnostic tests to guide treatment plans.
• Develop personalised, evidence‑based treatment plans and monitor outcomes for chronic neurological patients.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists and other team members.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment options and long‑term care plans effectively with families.
• Participate in clinical governance, audits, quality improvement initiatives and support departmental education.

Required profile

• Board certification in Pediatrics with fellowship or recognised subspecialty training in Pediatric Neurology.
• Recognised Tier 1 qualification (ABMS, Canadian Royal College, UK CCT/CCST or equivalent) and eligibility for Consultant‑level licensing with DHA, DOH or MOHAP.
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑specialisation experience in Pediatric Neurology.

• Proficiency in EEG interpretation and neuroimaging analysis.
